Music can help in so many areas of a child's development. Within the music program we are able to start some pre-reading and math skills, writing and fine motor skills, enjoyment of various types of music, some inner ear development and listening skills, following simple directions and echoing.

This can all be done in Musical Munchkins during the day at KCF. The classes usually run from 35 to 45 minutes long depending on how many children are in the class.

Musical Munchkins runs in 10 week blocks. One in the fall, one in the winter and one in the spring. There are 6 sets of 10 weeks and so a child can continue to his/her development through music for 2 years. After the 2 years they will be ready to start taking private piano lessons.

Taught by Heather Clayton in groups of 3-5 children

Payment is to Heather Clayton by cheque or email - cost is $150.00 for 10 weeks
